TMNT Tidbits

Just received word from Dan Berger that the new TMNT cartoon's debut did very well in the ratings. It was the highest rated show for the Fox Box morning block, and it increased ratings for the 10:30 slot by 71.4 percent!
The Leonardo statue should be available now. If you pre-ordered this statue, expect it to arrive sometime soon. Folks wishing to buy this limited collectible should ask their local comic book store to order it for them.
The Official TMNT Website had a massive update a few days ago. Check out the brand new wallpapers, images, fanart, and more.
Peter Laird also updated his Blast From The Past with some compelling news tied in. Blast From The Past #70 sports a sketch that Jim Lawson did for a proposed TMNT toy: "The Wacky Oozy Buggy." Near the end of the article (entitled Woo-Hoo! #6) Peter Laird describes his excited reactions to the next few episodes of the new cartoon. He also confirms that the upcoming Hallmark TV movie will be live action; he's very thrilled about seeing photos for Leonardo's sculpt. Also, be on the lookout for second printings of issues 1 and 2 of the Volume 4 Mirage comics as well as issue 10.
Konami, the company in charge of producing the new TMNT videogames, has created an online TMNT Flash game. An amusing way to kill time. =)
Figures.com attended Toyfare 2003 and took pictures of the next wave of TMNT toys. Check it out.
Don't forget to catch a brand new episode of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles this Saturday morning (and a repeat of the second episode that will air earlier)! Check your local listings.

Also, the results for the January poll are in! The Turtle Van was voted the TMNT vehicle you would most like to ride in with 273 votes (40%). For the full results of this poll and all other previous polls, click the Previous Polls link below the current poll.
We also put up some new images today (from the original cartoon, of course). We added 2 pictures of Bebop, 1 of Rocksteady, 1 of Shredder, 2 of Krang and Shredder together, and 7 of the Technodrome. Check them out in the Images section! Thanks to Brent Haskins for sending in the Technodrome pictures.
