Caption and Mystery Picture Contests Updated!
Posted Friday, December 20, 2002, 11:52 PM CST by Shredder
Krang and I finally found the time to update the Technodrome contests. Thanks to everyone who submitted entries! Take a look at the new pictures and see if you can think up a funny caption or figure out what exactly the mystery picture is. Also, for the caption contest, we've decided to narrow down the number of winners to three or four each time instead of five or six. The number of mystery pic contest winners will remain five (maximum), unless less than five people correctly guess the picture. So, see what you can come up with, and as always, let us know your comments and suggestions on the contests and anything else at the forums!
More Turtle News!!

The Official TMNT Website posted another sneak peek at the upcoming cartoon. This time around, it's a few colored pictures of our favorite green heroes. Seems like they're each a different shade of green... Check it out!
Dan Berger recently sent out a newsletter concerning the new action figures. A representative from Playmates stated that the toys would start appearing on store shelves during the second half of December. However, there is no schedule for releases, so some toys may be out earlier than others. Also, it is not known for certain which retailers will be receiving the toys and which won't. You may want to call your local toy stores and find out if they'll be receiving shipments. Some online stores, such as KB Toys and Toys 'R Us, are already taking pre-orders for the new action figures. Just conduct a search for "ninja turtles," and you'll be all set. From what I know, KB Toys is the only store that has pictures of the packaging and the many accessories.
Wizard Magazine reported that a new TMNT comic is scheduled to be done by Dreamworks, the same company responsible for the new Transformers comics. There has been no official word from Mirage concerning this matter.
Wizard also did a special article on the recent 80's revival. They wrote quizzes for each of the major 80's franchises, including the TMNT. Think you're an expert on all things Ninja Turtles? Pick up Wizard #134 to find out.

New Poll, November Poll Results, Online Store, Christmas Graphics
Posted Saturday, December 7, 2002, 9:42 PM CST by Krang
A new poll for December is up! Since last month's poll asked which bad guy toy accessory is your favorite, this month's poll asks which of the listed good guy toy accessories is your favorite. Be sure to vote at the top of this page!
Also, the results for the November poll are in! The Technodrome was voted your favorite bad guy toy accessory with 163 votes (54%). Krang's Android Body came in a distant second with 66 votes (22%), and the Shreddermobile and the Mutant Module tied for third place with 22 votes each (7%). For the full results of this poll and all other previous polls, click the Previous Polls link below the current poll.
Also, The Technodrome now has an online store! You can buy merchandise with our site's logos on it there, and all profit made from sales will go directly toward the payment of hosting fees and yearly domain renewals, so this is another way to help support this site.
Since Christmas is getting closer, I also put up the Christmas graphics from the past two years in the page header. If you still see the regular graphics, try reloading the page.

American Dream Comics posted an article that discusses the release of the Leonardo statue and the new toys. It also includes the first pictures of the vehicles that will be released by Playmates: the Turtle Cycle, the Sewer Slider, and the Delux Ninja Turtles Armored Truck. Read the full article for all the details.
Action-Figure reported that Playmates will be releasing a line of TMNT mini-action figures. Each one will stand at three inches. Click here for the full story.
KB Toys already has the first line of TMNT action figures available for pre-order. The online store also posted pictures of the action figures inside their packages. Pictures of the accessories are also shown.
