Also, the contests will be updated sometime soon, but you can still enter the current ones for now. If you haven't already entered, check them out in our Contests section.

A Rat, a Rumor, and a Reminder
Posted Friday, September 13, 2002, 3:01 PM CDT by Azure Turtle
I know... The title for this report sounds like the opener for a bad joke, right? Don't worry, there aren't any stale punchlines in here.

Images of the new Splinter action figure have appeared. Figures.com has posted pictures of an early prototype for the wise sensei. The final version will have Master Splinter wearing a cloth robe.

Comic Book Resources has posted a rumor regarding a brand new TMNT comic book series. It's believed that Peter Davis and LeSean Thomas might be the creative team in charge of this project. Check out Rich Johnston's commentary for more information. Remember, this is only a rumor, and there has been no official word from Mirage regarding this subject.

Just a reminder to all you movie fans... The DVDs of TMNT II: Secret of the Ooze and TMNT III should now be on store shelves. I managed to find them both at Target, and unfortunately, these DVDs are not packed with special features. The only extras offered are the theatrical trailers and a mini-game. This is still a good opportunity for those who don't own the movies, so pick them up when you get the chance.

Check it out in the menu under Information or by clicking here!

I also uploaded a new sound clip. This new sound is the Technodrome's theme music from the TMNT cartoon. Check it out in our Sounds section! Thanks to Neil of NinjaTurtlesNetwork for sending it in!

New Poll, Poll Results for August
Posted Friday, September 6, 2002, 2:12 AM CDT by Krang
The new poll for September is up! This new poll asks which of the given characters' pasts you wish the cartoon gave more information about. Be sure to vote at the top of this page!

Also, the results for the August poll are in! I think I forgot to mention this when I posted the last poll, but occasionally Shredder and I will use a poll from the past which didn't get very many votes as our monthly poll so that current visitors who didn't know about this site back when the poll was posted have a chance to vote (don't worry, though, we'll add an extra choice or two for variety). For August's poll (which was originally posted on June 1, 2001), Metalhead was voted your favorite TMNT robot again with 83 votes (20%). This time, Super Rocksteady & Mighty Bebop came in a close second place with 77 votes (18%), and the Foot Soldiers came in third with 66 votes (16%). For the full results of this poll and all other previous polls, click the Previous Polls link below the current poll.
