This seems to be the main corridor. Let's hope it leads to a back staircase and the way out.
That is if we find it first. Who knows where on earth we are at the moment.

Well, right now we are. If there is a back door somewhere in this mansion...
I'm sure we will find it and when we do we can escape this nightmare.

Meanwhile the friends continue their ride along the hallway of the 2nd Floor landing. Passing by another corridor that seems to stretch on into oblivion with doors on both sides and flickering chandeliers hanging above, they notice something strange in the center of the hallway.
What-the?!! What is that?
Yegads! <Also startled> Look at that thing.
The object before their eyes appears to be nothing more than a floating candelabrum dancing eerily in midair as though some unseen entity were carrying it down a passageway trying to find its way in the darkness.
Why is that thing dancing around like that?
Dunno, <Shrugs> perhaps it's a ghost trying to find its way down a dark hall at night. Much the same way as turning off a light and groping through a dark corridor feeling your way along the walls and trying not to bump or trip over anything.
Suddenly strange noises emit from the never-ending corridor, gradually getting closer and louder! The Syndicate react in terror.
Aiiiiiiiiiiiiiie!!! <Horror stretches his eyes>
Quick! In this doorway.
The DoomBuggy automatically obeys his orders and zooms into an open door just in time then its brakes halts the carriage & rotates about so the villains can peer back into the hall while hiding just inside the frame of the door. Through the dimly lit mist of the upstairs corridor a haunted suit of armor runs laughing evilly past the Syndicate swinging its sword & shield as though attempting to harm them! Footsteps, laughter, screams, moans, groans, cries and the sound of rattling chains chase the figure down the hallway and fades into the darkness.
It's nice to see folks enjoying themselves...in my home every room has wall to wall creeps and hot & cold running chills...hmhmhmhmmm...
The villains in their DoomBuggy turn their backs on the corridor and look into the room towards the sound of their Host's voice. The candles Valmont held again mysteriously dim and go out. They sit frozen with fright!!! They are in the old conservatory, a room cluttered with decaying flowers and plants. Broken windows in the room allow them to see the outside and there below is the private cemetery. Even though the rain is falling hard, an unnatural fog chokes the gravestones. The rain is coming in through the broken windows, the air is dank and has a musty smell. The crow that had startled them earlier in the art corridor flies in and perches atop a large box situated in the middle of the room.
What's that noise? <He hears strange sounds>
UNSEEN VOICE <Pleading>
Let me out of here! Get me out of here!
Sounds like someone or somebody wants help.
I'll light the candles. <He re-lights the candleholder> There we go.
Aaaaaaugh, master! Look!
Gaaaaaaah! It's a coffin!
The box is a coffin or casket. Two skeletal hands wrap around the edges of the lid, pushing up against it: something is trying to escape from its prison! The nails embedded into the lid holding it in place squeal & squeak in protest as though in pain. The unseen victim continues pleading for help as he/she tries opening the lid.
Get me out of here! Let me out of here!
At the same time the crow scolds the visitors for interrupting-disturbing some restless soul from its slumber.
You disturbed a guest, caw-caw! You'll be sorry for that, caw-caw!
Shredder, Valmont, Krang, Baxter, Black Tiger in their carriage run screaming out of the room and back into the dark hallway. They pass several closed doors as they continue towards the far end. From each door they pass natural and unnatural sounds come from within. Each sound as though it were trying to get out into the hall. Doorknockers clank, doorknobs twist & turn, pleading-crying voices come from the other side, and pounding-banging noises rattle the doors.
Master, I'm so frightened.
Me too...me too. <Horror in his eyes behind his facemask>
Krang, Black Tiger & Valmont are too paralyzed to speak or move. The Host then cautions his visitors about giving themselves away.
Whatever you do...don't betray your presence by screaming...Follow my voice, come...You have active imaginations...that's good...
